Point to Point Farm was the birth of a childhood dream for Dale Bowers.  The Farm is not named for the common hunting term but rather for two childhood homes, Grove Point Plantation in Savannah, GA, and HighPoint Farm in Orange, VA.  Sam grew up on a cattle farm and has many hours in the saddle working cattle.  Dale grew up riding any horse she could manage to find.  Sam and Dale met at the University of Georgia where they were both studying agriculture, and combining their many skills and talents which has created a unique and special team.

The original farm was built in 1994 as a boarding and training facility but transformed into a sport horse breeding program when Dale became frustrated at the difficulty of finding a suitable horse that was of sound mind and body and reasonably priced for her love of fox-hunting and eventing. Only a few foals were produced yearly concentrating on quality rather than quantity.  In doing so, we are able to concentrate on their individual care and upbringing maximizing the quality of each foal as well as minimizing costs. Our foals are born not just on our farm but as part of our family and home. We retired from breeding in 2008.  We still have a few foals left, and invite you to take a look on our For Sale page.

Point to Point Farm continues to adjust and evolve with our ever-changing times but our main priority continues to be the welfare and concern for quality stock.  We love our animals and invite you to come and take a look around! One trip to our farm it is evident that we love our critters, and this is first and foremost our home.
